The state has provisions for Alternative Treatment Centers (ATC) who are authorized to cultivate, manufacture, and/or dispense medicinal marijuana and related paraphernalia to registered qualifying patients in accordance with the provisions of the“New Jersey Compassionate Use Marijuana Act,” N.J.S.A. 24:6I-1 et seq.
In June 2019, the New Jersey Department of Health (DOH) announced they would accept new applications starting July 1 until 3pm (EST) on August 15.
In total, the Department will seek up to 108 additional Alternative Treatment Centers (ATCs), 24 cultivation applications, up to 30 manufacturing, and up to 54 dispensary endorsements.
