What marijuana/cannabis businesses can you start in Nevada?

The State of Nevada began accepting applications for medical marijuana businesses from August 5 and August 18, 2014.

For those who wish to operate a cultivation center, dispensary, a testing lab, or either an edibles or infused products manufacturer, the period to submit an application is limited to a 10-day window each year. The state hasn't said, at this point, whether they would reopen the program in 2015, but indications seem to point to this happening.

There is currently an initiative gathering signatures to put the regulation of marijuana on the ballot in 2016.
